I just happened to glance at some magazine article that mentioned the 90s band The Offspring.
They were my absolute favorite band of that era--I used to listen to them on the radio when driving my kids to and from school.
Their songs were always witty and great fun--but this one was much different. One of the most compelling songs I've ever heard.
I wouldn't apply it to me, because I don't think my impending death is tragic or unfair--it just is.
Plus I think by this time the moment for dedicating this song to me is long gone--people have adjusted--so it may seem out of place to post it.
But I love it and it never fails to bring a tear to my eye. Very compelling song. It's the kind of song I put on repeat twenty times.

It is done. I think. Nick said the lawyer said it went fine. I was standing right there. I kind of remember hearing it, but it isn't computing yet.
At least the nervous breakdown is done with, which is a blessed relief for Nick.
