I have just ghosted here of late. Without any identifiable cause, my major depression has been just that - and doing all I do has been twice the effort and the same with exhaustion. BUT- I am doing what I want (art) and would not change a minute. Grateful for my night time SR peeps and the possibilities life offers, sober.

(((PJ))) I hope things get brighter for you soon.
I keep falling into some kind of existential crisis lately and it’s not easy to pull myself out of feelings of futility. But I’m trying hard not to dwell there, largely by keeping myself really busy and finding things to be grateful for. I find mornings hardest, just getting going is difficult. With much help from coffee I get moving and once I have momentum things seem to be somewhat better.
SR is a Godsend for me.
Thanks everyone, you guys here are an important part of what keeps me going, sober ❤️

PJ, I have heard that folks in hot climates like yours are affected by a reverse SAD where the longer days and hotter temps trigger seasonal depression. I don't know if this has been ongoing or a more recent turn for you.

See someone in the know if you don't start feeling better soon.
