Good evening all.
(((Shenzy))) sweetheart I am so glad you found your way back. No need to feel any shame here we have all crawled back at some point I'm sure. I know I am amongst many who is just utterly relieved to see when someone returns. Take care and stay close to us as you get through those very difficult first few days.
PJ I'm glad you have at least still been pledging your 24 despite the dark time you ate going through. You are such a wonderful support to many of us and if we can support you too please don't feel like you have to be strong. Depression is an isolated especially as the nights draw in. Take care friend
Ooh hurrah Neoo the man pad is coming along superbly! A great combination of traditional with your modern tech and that fireplace! Love it!
Yesterday was very emotional. Such an outpouring of acute grief at Russell's dad's funeral. It was an honour to be part of it and the service was really lovely. I was very proud of them all and he was definitely a very loved dad, grandad and great-grandad
Willow I found myself thinking about you a lot yesterday and what a wonderful testament it is to your parents for you to be sober through your own difficult period of grief. Absolutely incredible you should be very proud of yourself ❤
Oh and in case she pops by I will risk a congratulations on 1 week of hard-earned sobriety darling Pebbles ❤❤❤
Oops edit: 24 please! ❤❤❤

I have just ghosted here of late. Without any identifiable cause, my major depression has been just that - and doing all I do has been twice the effort and the same with exhaustion. BUT- I am doing what I want (art) and would not change a minute. Grateful for my night time SR peeps and the possibilities life offers, sober.
Wow Neo, that looks fantastic! And the kitchen is totally gorgeous and huge! And the rug is so gorgeous too
Jojo, thankyou
The recent events in my life have changed me. In all my 50 years I have never experienced such intense grief. Ever. And I now have a new understanding of what people go through. I had been to several funerals before, but had never known what people were going through. Now I empathise so much with the family and friends of those who have passed. It’s such a huge thing to go through. And nobody can prepare you for it. Or change it. But just being there is so important.
Jo, your supportive presence there means the world to Russell and his family. Even if they don’t express their gratitude to you, believe me that they feel it. I know that all the people that came to Mum and Dad’s funerals were testament to not only the amazing people that Mum and Dad were, but they were there in support of me and my remaining family. And we felt that, deep down, viscerally. Their support meant the world to me in such an intensely sad time ❤️
