Kenton, you’re doing so amazingly well, 2 years is awesome! I have those roller coaster emotions pretty much every day... I’m hoping that maybe one day they might level out a bit but on the other hand I’ve kinda gotten quite used to them. I talk to my Mum every day, wondering what she thinks, now that she can “see all”.. I cry because I feel so guilty about so many things relating to not being as good a daughter as I could/should have been. I don’t worry so much about what my Dad thinks because he was such a rascal he’s probably chuckling away at any of my not-so-wholesome antics...

I’m approaching my 6 monthiversary and last night I dreamt that I got completely smashed drinking wine

I woke up with a headache, feeling a sense of horror, thinking OMG!!!

then I realised it was only a dream. Oh the relief!!!

18 months is great Sunflowerlife. Sending you lots of love and support for the challnging times ❤️

Ravenstorm, I hear you! I stopped drinking right before I turned 50. I hadn’t had a sober birthday in 35 years and had barely had a sober day, but now I haven’t had a drink for nearly 6 months. SR and all the amazing people here have been my saving grace, I couldn’t have gotten this far without everyone here ❤️

24 more hours please.
One day at a time, we can do this, together we really really can

Suze, thank you—that means a lot to me. I feel the same way. I sure would like to meet you too! I’m going to figure out how far a drive it is

..... let’s see...oh, about 1100 miles. That’s only a couple long days in the car, or 3 short days, or a 3 hour flight. Now if you were still in Australia...wow! I’m so happy to have you here in the States relatively close by.
