"Should" does kind of have a negative connotation, doesn't it? It is like I know I ought to, but I know I won't. Will and must are far more concrete and action oriented. Let us know how that works for you Inc.

Hey Amp, that is fantastic! It must be an incredible feeling knowing that your creativity and talent is appreciated by other people. It is amazing to be a person whom has sold both his music and his paintings.

So happy things are going well for you Amp!

Amp, besides your website, are there other avenues for your art to be shown? Over here, certain coffee shops will often hang an artist's works for a month or so, exposing people whom normally don't go looking for art to see an artist's paintings.

Things are busy here but doing well. Longer days, though cold, always help improve my outlook. My son still hasn't gotten his driving license and doesn't know if he wants to start college or not next fall. I am not putting pressure on him, but told him that if he doesn't go to school, he will have to work. And if he doesn't drive, he will have to get a job he can walk to. Education is brutally expensive in this country, so I don't want to waste money if he really isn't interested. But, at my age, I know the value of having a degree in something useful. We will see.

Take care guys!

i have my first exhibition coming up in March. I have a very obsessive.personality (as you know!!!) so I've been painting like a maniac for it! I've tried to attach a recent piece here so hopefully you guys will be able to see the kind of stuff I'm doing. It's mostly local scenes. I'm really enjoying the experience of learning to paint and create something from nothing. I taught a workshop session on watercolour painting recently.and I'm hoping to exhibit my work a little.locally to build up a CV. We'll see if I can take it anywhere from there. It would be a dream come true to sell a piece or two a week and make a living from this but that is too much to ask right now. I know I still have a lot of work to do.

Either way, I know that being sober has allowed me to develop this new skill that I am now getting so much enjoyment from and I am truly thankful! Long may it last!

What amazing work Amp. Your paintings convey the feeling and emotion of both the subject you paint, as well as how you interpret them. While you might not make a living from painting, selling some work certainly must make you feel wonderful indeed. I know you will have a great exhibition in March. Keep enjoying it without stressing out too much.

Take care!

Thanks Amp! I had a rough October into November, but have bounced back since then. I was late starting my depression protocol this year because I had been feeling so well up to then.

We have had a very mild winter thus far, with no measurable snow yet. We have had springlike temps for days at a time. And the days are getting longer!

Keep the painting magic going!

Great to see ya Amp! Are you getting super excited for your exhibition? How many paintings will you have on display.

Corona virus is all the news over here, though there has not been many cases to date. My store set an all time one day sales record Saturday then smashed it Sunday. People stockpiling water, pasta, beans and soup. It is bizarre to witness.

Off to pick my daughter up from play practice.

Take care guys!

Well, I officially live at Ground Zero for Corona virus in my state. Most of the cases have been from my county, just miles from where I live. The governor has closed all schools and non essential businesses down for two weeks, just in my county. My grocery store is considered an essential business and will stay open. Actually, it is just over the county line anyway.

We were insanely busy yesterday. Smashed another one day sales record. There literally was no food left in the store by day's end. Living and working at Ground Zero, and being in contact with thousands of people everyday, I am sure that I have already been exposed to the virus. I will likely get it, and hopefully recover from it. I feel oddly detached about the whole thing. Nothing I can do about it, except be extra careful about washing hands. Nothing to drink over.

Take care guys!

Hey SG! Troubled times here. The whole country is in lock down due to COVID19. I closed my business down on Thursday night and we're working like crazy trying to get our whole operation online within a week. It's a big ask but we are determined. We could easily go bust over this but we're going to fight it all the way.

Anyway, wishing you all well. Look after yourselves and stay safe
