Just piping up to welcome all!! The thread for my month starting - Feb 2016- was so important to me, especially the first year, and a group of us still keep up these days.
Happy New Year and sober start to all.

I'm here. 2019 and time for me to sort myself out once and for all. Couple of failed attempts over the past six months but I've learned something each time especially that this is much harder than I thought it would be and it's not just as simple as stopping drinking.
Fresh Start, New Class, New Life.....begins today. It’s Dec. 31 in my part of the world, but 2019 is the year I remain Sober, so I’m joining this class.
I’ve been at this for a solid year now (not including past attempts over the years) and I just can’t take it anymore. The lying, sneaking, wasted money, ill health, etc.
I will be spending NYE with my family at home; playing games, eating great snacks, and drinking La Croix. I look forward to being part of this new class in the new year.

Happy new year everyone.. I've decided to pledge my allegiance to my personal freedom from the chains of booze and all the crap it brings. I am ready for 2019 to be the year of transformation and I can not do that with alcohol at my feet.. So bring on sobriety!
