I bought a very heavy book on the philosophy behind yoga and meditation...using Indian terminology a thousand miles lomng and explained (!) by a near mystical yogi.
I have read parts of it numerous times and then it finally clicked!
It is not used to level up my bed- which wobbles on a warped frame.
Hope your day is going well, Gilly.

I had some trouble sleeping last night, but finally drifted off around 1.

Then it was a very sound sleep! When the alarm went off at 5, I jumped out of my skin and banged my head on the headboard!

I’ve got a busy morning. We are headed out of town today (mountains) to host a retreat for our church’s deacons and their wives.

Fortunately, the pastor and my husband did all of the grocery shopping yesterday, so we won’t have to stop at the store on the way.

I’m sitting down to a nice hot bowl of soup now while washing my sheets.

After I finish eating, I ‘ll hop in the shower and start packing.

It won’t be hard—we’ll only be gone till Saturday—but counting out my millions of pills is what’s the challenge. I really streamlined my life when I went to Florida: instead of packing an entire duffel bag full of bottles, many econo-sized supplements, I just count out what I’ll need for the trip and put them in a Ziplock!

Revolutionary!

I hope not. Remember that it's the absence of light, and not frost, that causes the leaves to change (photosynthesis). Either way, have a wonderful time.

Well, temperatures matter too, but it's mostly light. The colours were vivid here this year, high winds and rain have depleted the display.

That is what I’m hoping our driveway trees look like!

Here’s hoping!

Good morning, Kathy! I am also signing Dee’s petition. Just think of how many more cigars you can enjoy :-)

Kathy, I hope you are able to see the beautiful Autumn colors soon. We have some amazingly beautiful colours here and so far, most are remaining on the trees.

Have a wonderful weekend!
