Good morning, Kathy.

Have you considered donating some your remaining books to a senior center or senior living facility? Books can provide such a wonderful ‘escape’.

These aren't typical reading books, Leigh--they're biblical commentaries and theological reference books. If I list them on Amazon, they'll be much more likely to be found by those who would really like them.

There are some I might donate to a library or senior center, though, now that you mention it.

It's the series, The Story of Civilization, by Will and Ariel Durant, with eleven volumes. Fascinating, and loaded with unusual history and astute insights.

Thanks for suggesting it. At a library or senior center, it probably wouldn't matter at all that the individual volumes don't match.

Hi Kathy, I’m learning so much about everything, on your thread. There are some very intelligent people we have on SR!

Hope your day is turning out well. xx

HI Kathy.......Hope you're day is going well so far. Regarding the Amazon packing: Can you do an assembly line pack-----enlisting those family members and friends in the area - maybe even the older grandkids?

I echo Mags' post and also am learning so much on your thread.

I would have loved to see your complete library. It must have been awesome in its entirety.

Have a great afternoon and evening. ((Kathy))

The assembly line is a great idea, Rar!

One of my sons would be utterly useless at packing/wrapping, but my younger daughter absolutely loves it!

Well, I did not wimp out.

I went through with my visits with all three ladies and thoroughly enjoyed two of them. With the third lady I do better in texts and emails, but still it was not bad.

Now I have four hours to rest before Community Group tonight.

I did struggle quite a bit with nausea today, but I managed to fight it off.

I think I will nap right now.

Kathy - I hope the nausea doesn't persist.

Ann - That was lovely.

The nausea has come back, just in time for our church Community Group!

I thought about bringing my blue plastic bucket downstairs with me, but it’s got a wide surface area—people could see content. Probably it would be more discreet if I had to barf to use my “I Recycle” bag with the official green environmental logo!

I hope it doesn’t come to that. I do actually have a few minutes’ warning with the truly bad nausea: I get very dizzy and my eyes lose focus. I almost pass out.

If I feel that happening, I’ll just call out to my husband to help me upstairs.

I hope you enjoy yourself with your group tonight, Kathy, and I hope that you don't need to run upstairs.

I am hoping to wake up bright and early tomorrow morning to surf SR, have a cup of coffee, then get to work on listing my books on Amazon.

I looked up donation schedules for the branches of our county library, and one near my daughter is taking books through the end of this month.

These books are in great shape, and they have e-books of the series, so hopefully they’ll be interested in shelving hard copies.

My grandchildren have arrived. I tried to interest my other grandson in the hospital bed, but he thought it looked too scary.

I hate nausea- sometimes more than pain. It sucks.

Just dropping in to say hi, Gilly.

It's 9:50 at night and I'm still nauseous.

Plus I'm super-wired, so it will be difficult even with a sleep aid to go to sleep.

I was extra-talkative in the group. I wanted to put a sock in it after awhile, but I just. could. not. shut. myself. up!

Yes. I have two different kinds of pills, both of which I've maxed out on today.
