Almost!. But not quite!
They made the sauce just a tad tangier, and a tad less soupy.
So it has fallen off a little since the early 2000s.
But it’s still better than what I get in VA!
At least I won’t go to my grave not knowing!

I got my four objectives met today:
1. Las Vegas Pizza
2. Visit the Hotel Warner and walk up and down the gigantic, mega-wide 1930s carpeted staircase that was there when it was a real, 1930s fancy theatre. I used to climb it as a child to sit in the balcony when my dad was a projectionist there in the 60s and 70s.
3. Drive past the house I was born in: it is a little brick row house attached to many others in a series. The houses are now apartments for college students of West Chester University (it's very near the college).
4. Drive past the house I grew up in. It has not changed one bit since my dad moved out of it in 2005!
Now we're back at the hotel, where I can surf merrily.

I wanted to order a painting from the artist at my old house, but she doesn't ship, and there is no way I could buy something in person: our big van could never park on that crampy one-way steet with cars lining both sides!
Oh, well. It was a thought. After the Florida trip, the prospect of buying a painting of a basket of seashells from the woman who lived in my toddlerhood house brought tears to my eyes for a few minutes.
Oh, well--I'm sure it would have been overpriced, anyway..

I had a teddy-bear when I was a baby and until I was twelve or so, then he was put away and I guess my mother disposed of him later.
Recently I idly googled his description and when I saw the photo of an identical teddy my reaction was what I can only describe as visceral, like he was part of me.
Extraordinary.
Honour your feelings
Oh Kathy, such wonderful memories all come back when you visited. Sorry you couldn’t get a picture from the lady in your old house.
It’s amazing how our minds take us way back, like it was yesterday.
Enjoy your day. Hope you slept well love
