Morning. Hot and humid here today with some storms expected later. Just a lazy day with no real plans. Maybe find a new show and hibernate. Lol.
I started taking CBD oil yesterday to help with my anxiety. Has anyone else used it? Any success?’Hoping it might be the answer for me.
Well off to make a tea. Sure doesn’t feel like a Monday.

Apparently in drawing- I am showing more improvement....changing as quickly as paint drying.
But, dear readers- I persist.
Visited a friend who went thru the recovery program with me yesterday. She is boozing again. No judgements- I like this person as they are always trying.....but also I unfortunately know enough of how she copes with life- to see that slippery slope...and apart from listening and 'being there', I cannot 'make' her change. She has not yet reached the stage of believing she has lost enough......yet.
Sigh- but friendship is just listening and being there- for them as a friend, not a zealot, or a judging policeman.....sad to watch tho...she knows my full history and just as I never learnt from the death of my bro from booze..we all walk our own path. I still see the good in people, regardless of damage- so long as they do not harm others intentionally.

Had a pretty quiet uneventful weekend until last night. Fight with my dh because I bought Nathan cigarettes. He feels like that is enabling him. I feel like it's just helping him out a little while he's trying to do the right stuff. Ah well, not a new argument. We'll get through it. Funny, when I was drinking we fought all the time and I didn't really care. Now it's pretty rare (usually over Nathan) and it feels a lot worse.

Well the 3rd kiddo came down with it this morning and it has hit him much harder than the other 2. I think we might just postpone school until Monday. We’ll see how he feels tomorrow.
