Class of March 2013 Part 55
Us old dinosaurs keep plodding along Peej!
Babs, weave had a couple of deer in our garden a few times now, hubby said he saw them on Monday morning when he left early for work. Said they just lifted their heads and looked at him, decided he was no threat and carried on grazing! Sadly, I know that when I bring Molly back next month we won’t see them again as her scent in the garden will put them off. ( even though she is even less of a threat than hubby!)

I think I'm going to rescue some trees this winter. I know where there are thousands of volunteer bitter orange trees. Guess what giant swallowtail caterpillars love to eat? I may transplant a few to the folks yard and REALLY get the butterflies going.

I have fought for five years to beat this addiction. You've all been with me the whole way. I'm sure you knew when I was winning and when I was losing.
Well, I give up.
I've found a new way. I'm headed for a year-long residential rehab in NE Georgia. I just got the word I was accepted between my last post and this one.
The first two months are no outside contact. After that I don't know if there is internet access or not. Not thinking about that. If you care to send a post card, look up the address for The Potters House in Jefferson Georgia. Please send post cards. I love you all dearly and will miss you terribly.
I hate to leave you. If I don't I will end up homeless and dead. This gives me a chance to rewrite my future life story different from my past. Hope I made sense there.
I don't have to tell you to be good and kind to one another. I've never met a group of people more loving. Just keep doing what you're doing.
Love to all,
Trachemys AKA Dale

Wow! That's fantastic Trachy (Dale) and total sense. I don't suppose anyone has ever doubted your commitment but this is a big deal and I'm really pleased for you. As a naughty boy myself I will miss your wicked sense of humour. Good luck!
Trach, I am so very happy to read this. This is such a big step for you and it's clearly investing in your future. I will miss you too, but will hopefully see some posts from you in a couple of months. Take care of yourself.
I wake up reading your post Trach and boy, you made me cry, listening to your song
