You're going to be 1000 miles farther south. Sunscreen or you will be a very pained lobster.

OK. I will get some 50 SPG.

I’ve already got a big bottle, but I can’t take it on the plane.

Or just try and stay in the shade if possible, 'cause it's friggin' hot!

We will be in our own private tent on thee resort's own private beach! With a personal attendant to bring us cool drinks and sandwiches from the beach cafe--plus give us each a hand and foot massage! (fainting couch)!

BTW, I am a very light packer. I will take one nice dress and one nice pair of shoes--but I'm not bringing make-up. Ecch! I can just imagine how grimy make-up would feel in Florida!

And my regular, everyday dresses are light. I think I'll have plenty of spare room in my check-in bag.

And all my pills will be in a ziploc in my purse

I agree with those recommending avoiding over-exposure to the sun - no point in adding stressors to your immune system etc.
Take gentle care

And besides, if you want to be able to enjoy that awesome recliner, sunburn would not be helpful!

Dee, about my being a "living on the edge kinda gal"--

I once saw a perfect cartoon of my type in a book: a placid-looking woman leafing through a book called Skydiving Made Easy--

--from the comfort of her beach chair!

Have a superb time in Florida, Kathy. We are in NY for a few weeks and will head back to Florida (Orlando area) at the end of September. Hope you have some great weather!

There seems to be at least a bit of sunshine every day.

We left the house at 6:15.

We flew through baggage check and security. Now we’re at our gate—and now we have an hour to kill before we board! I sent my daughter to get some coffee.

I hit snooze so many times (I didn’t get to bed till 11:30) that I barely had enough time to grab a quick shower and throw stuff in the bag!

Kathy, have a wonderful trip - and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do (which leaves you room to do just about anything ).

Have a wonderful time. Hug a gator for me, would ya? I do love my gators. Easy does it on the sunburn too, the sun burns stronger there and you don't want to get fried.
