A Different Path Part Four
It is not quite 7 am and in the past hour and a half I have seen two of this years baby (now grown) foxes run by my patio, returning from a night of hunting by the river...and mourning doves cooing in the spruce tree in the garden...and an osprey calling in the distance...and the cardinals singing to all who will listen. A flock of geese just flew over, so low I could hear the wind dispacement under their wings...they are teaching the young to fly in V formation and choosing the strongest to lead. I watched the full moon set and the sun rise...and all is well with the world.
So...it's safe to get up folks, the world is ready to hand you another brand spanking new day. Embrace it and find the joy....there is always joy there somewhere.
Kathy, I think you have inspired me to appreciate the dawn and each day that arrives fresh and new.

That really is lovely, Ann. Thank you.
I am pleased that my doings and musings occasionally provide you with inspiration.
You are one of the people who most inspires me!
Suze, I wasn’t restless to “go somewhere” as in out—I was champing at the bit to discuss what to say to my niece and get moving on the email!
Finally my husband woke up and we discussed things. I wrote a nice and hopefully encouraging email, and my husband gave it his seal of approval.
We hope to visit her within the month.
Thank you all for all your prayers and concern.
Thank you, PJ, for worrying about my pace. I really did need to just stop and crash.

Kathy, You pop into my head every time I whine about something inconsequential. Seeing how you have approached this challenge has changed my life. I know I'll never forget what I've learned by knowing you.
Ann - I agree with Kathy - you inspire me every day, and have for years. Another person I'll be eternally grateful for.
Just think - I would never have known you if not for my alcohol addiction.

Hi, PTF! It's really nice to see you!
One more shelf to do on my bookshelf--I'm taking a rest now.
The giveaway collection is completely shelved and organized.
My pastor will be over tomorrow to let me know what he wants (I think he was using "monster" as in, "She's a BEAST!" rather than "She's a horrifying behemoth!").
After my pastor has his pick, my son-in-law will take a pile off my hands. He wants a grand total of 23 books!
I worry that I might be feeding another addict's habit.

Kathy, I am cracking up here because here you are frantically trying to purge your book collection...and along comes SoberLeigh with a book and you are like a moth to the flame.
I am allowed to laugh at that because I get whiplash often from changing directions so quickly.
Hi Kathy!
Just wanted to say hello and if you don't hear from me for a few days, you know why, but I will think of you.
Have a great few days. I hope you feel well and your next round of adventures is fun/rewarding, or what you hope.
Love, Aly xxoo
