And 24 and goodnight everyone! This new hound dog is wearing me out. He just lays down when he doesn’t want to go somewhere. So I scoop up the seventy-pound dog over and over. The vet called it ‘pancaking’...haha. He’s the sweetest, most gentle dog but stubborn! Looking at trainers. My arms and shoulders are gonna be quite buff soon, on the bright side

I've been training mine to "pancake" on command, and also to throw his own tennis ball.... I know what you're thinking... (and so do the chat people) ... what extreme joy and hilarity those two are having, and some broken ornaments too, but just think, when he gets his aim in. It will bring a whole new dimension to the war between dog and postman

Delilah, your son's birthday weekend sounds so lovely. I just love reading stuff like this on here, about "happy family moments" (does that make me sound creepy? I hope not..) it makes me hopeful that maybe one day I will have them too!
I have to do some phone calls and paper work stuff today, the hospital still hasn't sent me some important papers that I need in order to get some other examinations done.
Besides that I feel very emotional today. My ex / bf messaged me just before I went to bed last night and it made me cry. Not that I felt hurt or anything but what he said was so touching somehow.

Congrats to the milestoners and positive thoughts to those struggling or missing in action.
Sobriety is WORTH the initial struggles! It gets EASIER, then it even becomes a preferred way of life! FREEDOM! Hang in there....Reach Out.....Be Strong.....stay sober for just this hour, then the NEXT, then for a DAY, then ANOTHER.........
