Lately when I was sewing it was mostly just mending things but a while ago I was making myself some pretty dresses which was really fun! What are you working on?

Here for 24 more hours of precious freedom from alcohol.
Hope everyone is doing well.
I'm a bit anxious and overwhelmed, trying to prep for my Bday party tomorrow night. I wish I could just do things without feeling like I am going to explode from this sense of urgency. Panic is not fun and I know it will all get done. I just need to breathe a little deeper, right? Why does that seem so difficult right now?
Hope everyone is doing well.
I'm a bit anxious and overwhelmed, trying to prep for my Bday party tomorrow night. I wish I could just do things without feeling like I am going to explode from this sense of urgency. Honestly, this is just my anxiety at its worst- I look at the house and all I see is clutter. My list of groceries for tomorrow is huge and I have to go to 2 stores to get what I need. Then I need to go to my parent's house to borrow the electric mixer. Then bake the cake. But since my husband is off tomorrow and he offered to help, I can leave the vaccuming and mopping to him. I have already started picking up the random crap in each room and hiding it in the storage room!
I will be okay. Just need to breathe and remember that it will all get done. I think I am also pmsing but who knows with this irregular cycle. At least I fed myself a huge, 3 eggs omelet for breakfast. That should hold me over for a while (with cheese, tomatoes and olives.)
