Lol, this Daily Truth from the Brave Girls Club is very fitting for me. I've thrown a lot of fits lately. Still sober though and no plans to change that!
Hope this Daily Truth helps someone else today. We're all Brave Girls & Guys!!

Your daily truth from Brave Living...
Dear Had-Enough Soul,

First...take a second and breathe, okay? Deep, deep, deep breaths...in and out. Close your eyes for a minute and remember that it's okay if you feel completely overwhelmed at the tasks that are ahead of you, at the choices you have to make, and at the burden of responsibility you are feeling.

It's okay if you just want to throw a fit some days and let someone else be in charge.

Now that you have that out of your system, think for a minute about how you really want the rest of the day to go...how you really want to feel, what you really want to accomplish, where you really want to end up.

Decide right this second that you are going to do ONE THING to take a step in that direction.

When that is done, take another step.

Don't let yucky feelings be in charge. YOU are in charge of how the rest of your day goes inside of your skin, head, and heart. YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH to choose how you REALLY want to feel. You really are.

If you must throw a fit first, go for it! But make it a good one because you have things to do when it's over.

It's the GOOD WORK of living the life that you want to live.

YOU ARE SO EXTRAORDINARY. Give yourself some credit.

You are loved,
xoxo

The bad news: My Reiki Level 2 was cancelled this morning. I didn't find out until after I was all showered, dressed and ready to pack my lunch for the day! I'll admit I was very upset (in tears) that she had to reschedule due to her sick daughter but I know that everything happens like it is supposed to. We will hopefully be able to reschedule for this weekend.

The good news: I am officially employed at the health food store I worked in before kids! I am only doing 2 days a week and I start next week but they were able to give me the pay I asked for which is a plus. I am excited to be back in the workplace but still have the ability to stay home with my toddler the other days of the week. I'll be working on my husband's days off which means no $$ goes to childcare (which is crazy expensive around here.) So extra money, adult conversations and some space from the house. It's a win win. I worry about not having any days with my husband but honestly they are more stressful than anything so it may be a good break for both of us.

Here for 24 more hours of precious freedom! Love you guys...

Dee, maybe your fridge was haunted by a poltergeist? Ghost residue of broccoli or something?
