Thanks all. As I mentioned in my class thread, he only drank one beer in front of me tonight. And he even told me he noticed his immune system is really down since he started drinking again. I mean, I don’t want to watch him fall apart or anything but I’m glad to see him noticing the change as starkly as I have.
I’m pretty comforted by the calm and boring night we are having.
Oops he just saw me on my phone typing and asked me what I’m doing and I just explained my relationship to SR that was big

Good Morning Everyone on this hangover-free Saturday.
Weev in for 24 more at 9:00am trying to enjoy a cup of coffee sitting on my beautiful Adirondack bench in the summer garden and quickly freezing like a stone statue.
The north wind is evil but I’m still sitting here typing/jabbing at my phone with stiff cold fingers. You have to be tough to live on these islands
I have on a special pair of goosedown duvet slippers haha !!!

Good morning all.
I feel much better after yesterday. I needed a reset day and it's amazing how it can help so quickly. My inner saboteur was well and truly defeated!
Just me and the bf today. We are still in this second honeymoon phase. Coffee brought in bed and now he is folding laundry! I know! I'm spoiled!
Plan today is to do some light housework and go out for a walk. I think some fresh air and Yorkshire hills will do me good.

Now my diary is filling up so I am doing something almost every day. I have started church on Sundays and love it. I have made new sober friends, mainly from AA, and tomorrow afternoon I am going to a BBQ that one of the AA members is having, the whole group will be there, hence the traybake. Its the second AA party I have been to and its lovely to feel so safe and amongst people who understand, and they are good fun too, us sober people aren't all boring as folks like to think.
Enjoy your walk in our lovely countryside Jo, no sunshine yet but some coming later. I am about to get the hoover out. I hate hoovering so best to do it first, love baking so that will be the last job. Also doing a roast chicken for evening meal. Am feeling very blessed.
Please count me in for another 24 hours sober and clean. Congratulations to those celebrating a milestone, my thoughts and prayers go out to those suffering and struggling.
