Last recovery place art session today.
New art- study in 2w now.
I put in a request to buy one of the recovery, painting easels, which there is a surplus of..good ones. They gifted one to me...not used to such gestures.
All of this is still sinking in...jeez- from undergrad- to lecturer- back to undergrad in a different discipline..the wheel has turned.
Hope all are doing ok.

Morning all. Doing well here. Vaca is winding down - I could get used to this. It’s been nice to slow down and have some time to myself and get my thoughts and priorities back in sync.
Taking it slow the next few days as well. Trying to make this time off last as long as possible

Same here about posting more often, MITA....I need to stay closer to SR....I have good intentions of staying on the Soberbus, then throw myself off at the last minute....and of course I drank on the 4th.

Hey everyone! I hope you had a nice 4th. Ours was kind of a dud but oh well. No hangover just exhausted from going to bed so late.
We are in full vampire mode here. The shutter will not be going up today. It’s a disgusting 113 out today. It is going to be Netflix in pajamas all day.

The best thing about the 4th is that it is over (for me) PR. I hate those big holidays. Too much partying....I actually found a big plastic cup filled with alcoholic fruit punch that someone left on my outside window ledge....there are tons of bars within 2 minutes walk of here, and I live in the most gorgeous part of this city. So lots of tourists and party people. It's pretty funny really....I hated that in Melbourne and moved to the exact same type of area here....I keep meeting the same challenges until I learn to deal, overcome.

Hi Venus. Seems like your weather has improved a bit. I hope so, it seemed pretty miserable for a while.
I've been on the east coast all week. Crazy hot and humid until today. This morning it's cool and clear - what a treat!!

Well folks, patience is a virtue at times. A while back- I was very tempted to start buying the whole GOT series. BUT- I did not want to replace on addiction with an obsession. Like a lady at the meeting yesterday whose current obsession are mints.
Anyway- library has the lot...just finishing series 7. A well done series, and I do not think it will ever have a finite ending..it just keeps on going. Enjoyed it but.
