Wow Phoenix, I'm so glad you made it through. I don't think fully realised, until now, what a dangerous game I've been playing for so long.

(((Gabe))) and (((Snufkin))) I'm so glad you're both back.
We're the lucky ones as not everyone makes it 'back'
I remember my last horrifying night all too well and I never want to go through that again. Alcohol will kill me if I let it......it's never going to get that chance again.
Stay close, post away, don't take that First Drink.

And I should have called you because I knew you were in trouble....I am sorry. Let's be in contact today love.

Maybe drink some plain hot water, it will help with your tummy. And take lots and lots of love from us....we do this together. Onward my dear friend. ♥♥

Read a wonderful quote yesterday....

'We can still be crazy after all these years. We can still be angry after all these years. We can still be timid or jealous or full of feelings of unworthiness. The point is not to try and throw ourselves away and become something better. It's about befriending who we are already'. Pema Chodron

Since I've started treating myself with compassion, I've noticed a subtle but definite shift in my state of mind. Self compassion doesn't come easy to me because my inner voice has been so critical of me for so long but gradually I'm becoming more understanding of why I do and say the things I do. This is now having an effect on my words and actions. I've realised that when I become resentful or angry or impatient, I hurt myself. And I don't want to hurt myself anymore.

I'm sorry you are having a tough time Gabe, Snufkin, Lyddie and Juliet. Try to be kind to yourselves.....it might sound silly but a few words of kindness to yourself can have a powerful effect. We rarely take the time to tell ourselves how much we are loved, cherished and needed...and I think we need to hear it from the one person who matters most. Ourselves.

Hope you feel better soon Suze, you are always in my thoughts.

Congrats to everyone celebrating a milestone today. ... 24 more for me please xxxxx

Forgiveness

The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.
Mahatma Gandhi.

To keep resentment is something weak
Because it can trap you and freeze you from taking action.
Let go and forgive, turn the page, carry on to the next chapter and don’t hang on to resentment or your life won’t advance.

Morning all, seems like many of us are having a rough start today, for all of you my strongest vibes and hugs your way.

My work week begins today, much drama in the scheduling area, my self absorbed co worker has been working (badgering) the bosses to get the schedule so that "both" of us will get a decent schedule. I saw her version of the June schedule,,,, it has me working, 5 days a week, 12 hour shifts, either 8 pm to 8am, or midnight to noon,,,, she works a 4 day week, 8am to 8 pm,, this is the ENTIRE month!!,,,,, sigh,,,,,

Anyway hugs to all!

Love you guys!!
