Early recovery is very hard. I think back and cringe at the thought that I would have to go through that again. Please make this your last time you have to go through this ever again if you have recently relapsed! 24 more clean and sober hours please. Congrats to everyone reaching a milestone today!

Need to hop on my bike and burn through some of the carbs I ate yesterday. I am finally ready to start my journey and let go of all sweeteners and all binges. I'm scared but I don't have a choice anymore. My alcohol issues and food issues are one in the same and I don't know why it took me this long to figure it out.
Looking at OA meetings near me. I went to a few about 12 years ago but I was so different back then. I'm curious to see what happens this time around. It's really interesting that I was able to get sober with only the help of SR and yet I don't feel like I could do online support for my food issues. I guess because food is everywhere and I can't remove myself from the trigger since I have kids who eat flour and sugar products. Wouldn't it be nice if they didn't?
Here for 24 hours of sobriety and trigger food free living. It's day 1 for me for the food.

I have potted an Apple mint and a grapefruit mint and it really does smell nice. It’s nice to care for something and see it start to put out new shoots.
