My brother and I saw Get The Led Out at the Music Hall in Tarrytown, NY last night. It's a beautiful town with many views of the Hudson River. Band is six guys to help faithfully create what Zeppelin did in the studio with all the overdubs and effects. Great show & night. Here's to another sober weekend
Oh yeah, a dude a couple of seats to our right really over did it. He was slumped over in his chair for the whole show and people had to climb over him to get in and out of the row. Sad.
***I have a picture attached that shows fine in the preview, but now when I post.....hmmmmm

Good morning...4 days no drink.
Thank you JC-NY and all...
I declined two parties yesterday...guys literally came to pick me up, half way i turned them back saying i was not home...I feel sorry for that. But I had to do it...otherwise I would have landed up drunk. I woke up fresh and with energy. One day at a time and one moment at a time. I am not entirely out of the woods. My dark mind thinks about drinks once in a while through out the day. I keep reminding me that's not what I want.
Thank you all for the support. Have a great peaceful day...

LOL at the passed out guy. Sad, but that's pretty common. I remember a DJ who went to one of the famous Wall shows in LA in 1980 or 81 said that some guy next to him SLEPT THROUGH THE WHOLE SHOW! Sad. Even in my worst days I never actually passed out. A friend of mine slept through part of a Replacements show, but it was because he worked a double shift and just fell asleep, not due to drinking.
Do you have a picture of the dude? I HAVE to see this!!!!

IWTA, you're doing great. I'll steal this line again from OOTT- Post before you toast & think before you drink.
It's so crucial that we make the right choice, every minute of each day. We are here for you as is all of SR - - - STAY STRONG.

I had a lovely Mother's Day with my son. It is his dad's week-end so instead of him waking me up with pancakes and coffee he showed up with donuts and flowers at 10am. He got me another charm for the pandora bracelet he got me years ago. We went and saw "Life of the Party" with Melissa McCarthy and I laughed the whole time and he did too. We spent some time at home. He had to be back at Dad's so he is gone now and I'm feeling blue... But I got the awesome memory so that is what counts... They go quick! Another Sober Sunday in the books. Happy Mother's Day to all the other moms in this thread.
Wasn't it funny. The funniest part to me was when she was trying to do her oral presentation in archaeology class, and she couldn't stop sweating and knocking the podium over OMG! And when she went to wipe the sweat off of her face and the tissue stuck to her face. It was hysterical!
