I have 2 child-free weeks a year Neoo. I go one of 2 ways. I either find a job to do around the house that will keep me busy (usually involving a paint brush) or treat myself to things that I don't normally get the chance to do (a good book or this time I went to the gym a lot)

Came down to see that coffee was brewed without the coffee, ha ha. I actually told hubby not to make enough for two as I've been trying to make the switch to Mate or Green tea in the mornings. Not today. That damn ice cream cake made me groggy as hell.

We have a bday party for our toddler's class mate this morning and it's the first time I'm really excited about it! I found out the family lives in our neighborhood (she actually came up to me and mentioned it last week.) So I am really eager to see if we can make a friendship out of this plus playdates over the summer. Her oldest is a year older than our son as well- added bonus!!

I commit to 24 hours of beautiful freedom today. I had a scary thought/vision of trying to drink again down the road. I don't want to ever become too comfortable with my sobriety and have been thinking about finding some type of meeting in the area. If I can find a Refuge Recovery, I may try that. Or a new therapist who can work the steps with me as I think I'd like to try them.

yesterday i had an appointment with a woman from my credit union, she is helping me with credit and next budget and saving, but yesterday we chat like 2 old friends she put a few things into a positive perspective, that I end it at having a good day a content day. in our first meeting was weird I told her that for the past year I make appointment twice and cancel it, and she said that the reason was , she was no ready to teach me yet, and now both are ready.

Our gardening day magically changed as soon as Melly got up and the 2 of us have been out for the day to Cannon Hall which is a great family farm day out with lots of animals to feed and nice picnic spots. Poor Hannah has been stuck in revising. I told her it was character building but just got the eye-roll!
It feels so good to be well again thank you all again for being so kind during my little tooth drama.
Just need to being in the 3 wash loads I've had out all day! We don't often get sunny days like this so I washed like a mad woman yesterday!
