5:49 and I did not want to get out of bed. I actually got up, put on a robe and got back into bed for another 10 minutes.
Came down to see that coffee was brewed without the coffee, ha ha. I actually told hubby not to make enough for two as I've been trying to make the switch to Mate or Green tea in the mornings. Not today. That damn ice cream cake made me groggy as hell.
We have a bday party for our toddler's class mate this morning and it's the first time I'm really excited about it! I found out the family lives in our neighborhood (she actually came up to me and mentioned it last week.) So I am really eager to see if we can make a friendship out of this plus playdates over the summer. Her oldest is a year older than our son as well- added bonus!!
I commit to 24 hours of beautiful freedom today. I had a scary thought/vision of trying to drink again down the road. I don't want to ever become too comfortable with my sobriety and have been thinking about finding some type of meeting in the area. If I can find a Refuge Recovery, I may try that. Or a new therapist who can work the steps with me as I think I'd like to try them.

Good Morning Everyone. 24 sober hours for me please. I will not drink today.
Congratulations to all the milestones today and to those committing to 24 hours of sobriety. Well done!

Good Morning. A serving of 24 more @ 0651. Badger Time.
A fellow tenant may have passed away last night from cancer.
We were amicable and spent some time visiting.
Today...slight repulsion towards an urge.
Need to start taking my meds.
