My treatment went wrong Suze. The equipment took wrong measurements and he drilled too far and traumatised the tooth. I started to cry when he was telling me then got all shakey so he didn't take the other tooth out either. So I'm now going to be in a lot of pain when the anaesthetic wears off and have to go again on 11th to try again.
I know in the grand scheme of things it's nothing but I'm pretty upset by the whole thing. Off to bed for a rest now ❤❤❤

Oh, honey; I am so sorry that this happened. Good grief.
Rest, rest, rest. Prayers that the pain subsides quickly.

I had my class last night but still managed to sleep 7 hours, so I am feeling pretty decent this morning! This week we are focusing on the 2nd chakra- I found my carnelian (an orange stone) and will carry it around with me. An imbalanced 2nd chakra expresses itself like this:
"A closed sacral chakra can shut you off from opportunities and stifle your creativity. You may feel isolated or numb, and disconnected from your emotions and the people around you. People with closed sacral chakras often try to compensate by being overly controlling or abusive. On the other hand, an overactive sacral chakra can lead to mood disorders like depression and bipolar disorder. If your sacral chakra is overactive, you may feel needy and need constant reassurance. You may be creative and active, but have no confidence in your work and be unable to accept criticism."
Here is a photo of the wildflowers I found yesterday for May Day - they weren't as tall as I was hoping but they are beautiful nonetheless!
Have a beautiful day everyone!

Oh, those dreadful drinking dreams! (((((CrossYourHeart)))))
Jo, your experience today sounds like the stuff of nightmares. I'm fairly certain a fundamental part of being a dentist is knowing how not to traumatise teeth. Sadly it happens. My sister had a horrendous experience with her dentist and so did my father-in-law. In both cases, I got involved and wrote letters to the practice managers of both surgeries demanding another dentist look at the teeth as a matter of urgency and rectify the problems. In both cases, a different dentist got it sorted out. Sometimes when it's happening to you, it can be difficult to fight your corner. .... especially when you're in pain and feeling understandably emotional. I'm more than happy to draft a letter to your dental surgery on your behalf.... another dentist needs to look at that tooth much sooner than the 11th. I'm here if you need me xxxx
