Happy Sober Monday. 7 days it is, my first week. I'll take 24 more please. An App I am using Sober time, has these goals lined up for me, so my next goal is in 2.5 days, that is day 10, double digits.
Wish me strength to get there.

Happy Monday everyone. Well done Rowlands on 59 days and forstarlights - one week is awesome. Keep going! Hope you feel better today Venus... love to everyone xxx
Had such a brilliant day yesterday. Took the kids to this massive park with a huge lake. Our dog did some fairly impressive swimming... he looks so elegant when he swims which is in such stark contrast to his clumsiness on dry land. Maybe he's more dolphin than dog. Then we bumped into a couple of families I know from my kids school and we ended up spending the afternoon with them. We all did Go Ape which involves climbing through the trees with this incredible zip wire at the end. I really enjoyed spending time with people I don't know that well and it made me realise that I've become a bit guarded. When I decided to stop drinking, I severed ties with my old group of friends because they wouldn't support my sobriety. They've been fairly horrible to/about me ever since and I think I've become a bit distrustful of people in the real world as a result. Yesterday taught me that there are some awesome people out there and maybe I'm ready and secure enough in my sobriety to start letting some new people into my life.
Congratulations to everyone celebrating a milestone today.... 24 more for me please xxxx
