24 please. Pinched a nerve in my back lifting weights yesterday which is bumming me out on this beautiful sunny day. Had planned to do a solo sunrise hike but couldnt leave my heating pad. All this from my drunken fall down stairs a few months ago. A painful reminder of why I stay away from the first drink. Did my first actual share at a rehab meeting last night. My voice shook but the ladies really seemed to identify with me, since unlike the other 3 women from outside the facility I was with, I'm right where they are. I don't have years of sober experience and wisdom but I can attest that my life is infinitely better than it was a few months ago. It was rewarding despite my body shaking from the anxiety. My head is so scrambled it seems. I rushed to get both boys to play therapy for our older son only to remember that I had changed the appointment to 45 minutes later so that I would NOT have to take them both (my husband would have been home). Ugh. Trying to do anything after school is super stressful! They are on their tablets and we are waiting. Just wanted to see what everyone was up to... |
