7:16 pm in California and checking in for another 24. My daughter who will start HS next year tried out for the cheer team, tryouts were M-W, and they posted the list today and she made the JV team. She is elated, because they cut close to 20 girls. She starts practicing on Monday.

The thing I'm most excited about is she will have a group of friends when she enters high school next year.

My girls are 14 months apart, and polar opposites in their interests and activities. I love that I get to enjoy a wide spectrum of cheering on my kids. Now I need to sign my ten year old up for something until soccer season, he would happily play video games all day if I let him.

Hope everyone's weekend has gotten off to a good start.
