Argil, that is Molly my Labadabadoodle, (3/4 lab, 1/4 poodle, sheds like she wants to be bald) she is currently on recouperation duties down in England helping my dad get back on his feet and walking around, and giving my mum an excuse to get out the house on a regular basis! I miss her, but it does help me out too as I have my house on the market and it’s so much easier to keep clean without Molly to sweep up after! ( hey, perhaps I should tie a broom to her tail - she gpcan sweep as she wags as she walks!! )
I’m glad you’re getting to grips with your hearing aids Sassy, I was losing my voice keeping shouting my posts!!

Argi, thanks! I sometimes have to remind myself that many people have much worse problems than mine. I picked the bee because all of my life, until several years after retired, I was constantly busy. The bee reminds me how fortunate I am now :-). I live on the ocean in the northeast. Love it!
I have much to be grateful for as I reach that time of life where something is going to happen and it’s important for me to simply continue to live my life and enjoy the many blessings I have and the great people I live with.

Hi all,
Thank you everyone for answering my queries about your avatars. I loved finding out more about all the critters.
I have all these things I want to respond to your posts about, but just can't right now. I've had a pretty bad run of the pain in the past few days and have a migraine on top of it all today to boot.
But I will respond properly when I am able. In the meantime, please know I'm likely lurking about on the thread. It helps to read along about all your current happenings; it gets me outside of my situation, and makes me feel less alone.

Wow, another day off tomorrow, I could get used to this! Tracy is off at the Jersey Shore so I guess tomorrow will be puppy appreciation day!
Sadly though, one of Tracy*s sisters drank herself into the ICU last week, she also let her dog escape and it ended up getting hit by a car and killed. Tracy has offered her to come up here and stay with her but under the condition of no drinking. She got a DUI in December last year so I'm sure her probation will have something to say about this latest episode.
Still haven't started new position at work yet, they finally okayed someone to take over my position, but with shift changes and vacations I still may not start for another two weeks.
Welcome Argi, my avatar critters are my Shar Pei Nature Boy and my mixed hound Aunt Bee, they are both doing well but Nature Boy seems to be allergic to some things that he wont leave alone. He's been on prednisone 3 times this year.

Hubby went to the Dr. and to make a long story short. Just came home
and has pancreatis . It's a mild case but, he had a bad week-end. Suppose to not have alcohol so, God works in mysterious ways. another chapter of my life.
We are going out of town tomorrow to a Musical which is held outdoors and I just love musicals so, will see how that goes.
Sorry to be short. But, will try and catch up later.
