10:36 and a quick check in from California. I am off to read Alternate Side, a new book I started today. It's pretty good so far.
Great family day again today. Walked by the water, watched my oldest tie a PR i. The first logo of a 4x1600 relay, and blow away the other runners, and will be reading until my other daughter gets home from babysitting.
Two more days and then back to work for me, and it is going to be a very busy week!!

Good morning friends. I'm having a lovely time and have just treated myself to a massage which was simply wonderful!
Last night just before dinner I was thinking about what this trip away would be like if I drank. I'm not sure if the AV was trying to tempt me I like to think I was just mulling it over. We are away on our own and of course there's nothing to stop me apart from me and my recovery. We talked about it and of course I didn't but I had a little think about it. Then of course it's Saturday morning, the sun is out and I feel relaxed and free!
I'm not upset or sorry that it crossed my mind. I am an alcoholic after all.
Lots of love to you all and sending you as much love and positivity as I can Nic. I'm just so sorry you have to tell your lovely boys your news. I hope a load is lifted once you have though. They'll look after their mam! ❤❤❤
