Day 322

Good morning around the world friends-
Getting ready for yet another snowstorm and snow day tomorrow! Lots of errands to run today and I'm dragging my 3 year old with me! Should be fun.

Grateful to be alive, sober and aware. This is the life I always wanted- the life I always deserved.

6:27 am in California and ready to kick off another week. Congrats to all of our Milestoners, and thank you to our two jokesters for kicking off the day with some laughs. I have a tech meeting at 10:30 today, and think I will share that one with the group, should get s few eye rolls and groans, so will be worth it!

Gabe honey ~ I have done a lot of work (in therapy and then by myself) on understanding the critical parent/nurturing parent theory, and how we internalise those voices and treat ourselves this way as adults. The idea that there is a frightened child inside of us that we can nurture and protect now....

...this was/is very healing for me.

Congrats to the milestoners! Also so proud of my SO, he has one month today. Longest he's gone in our 6 years together and probably much longer. Stuck at home without a car, but still going to try and throw a cake together with what I have here.
