Hopefully the town Chinese restaurant will be delivering tonight.
My stomach is so sick of the greasy Italian food. We have really appreciated it, because its breakfast was amazing, and it was the only game in town yesterday; but today my stomach is rebelling and screaming STEAMED VEGETABLES AND BOILED RICE!

Gilmer I hope you enjoyed your Chinese and that there he storm soon passes
Peej, practise makes perfect! Maybe you should try yoga? Perfect for gently stretching that tight skin and for actively slowing you in thought and deed?
Mags how did day one back go? Any timeline on the op?
Hugs all

Toots- I started doing yoga 5 weeks ago. Truth be told it is much more difficult than gym work. The extension/flexion and stretching is good - and I push myself to do it, but it hurts. Especially the hold poses. I need to always be cognisant of contractures and 'physio' is important. Yoga fits the bill perfectly.
PJ,
No one in the world is ever totally at peace all of the time. I have family we don't have anything to do with by mutual choice. But I agree with your keeping your momentum up as you are already doing. Remember what I always say - Life doesn't get better, we do.
FBL,
Thanks I'll go look him up there sometime. I know the feeling about your card shows. I felt the same way about gun shows such that I never went except as a spectator, not an active buyer/trader. I never really got into trading cards.
Mags,
How are you doing?
Toots,
I agree about family history. You know what the trouble with families is? Families! Your daughter and my son are similar.
My stuff is not all great either. Have you been to a yard sale recently? You can make unreal money with hundreds of dollar items and quarter boxes. The rest requires my personal one on one as my tools and other pilferables make the $5-$10 items. Cars and house last but the cars will have signs on them for yard sales. Fortunately we have two large standalone carports. Everyone thinks their stuff is junk. We just swap our junk for other people's junk.
Sassy,
Make sure we have good streaming TV in our wing!
Hi Andy and IP! Good one just keep going South!
Babs,
I really need to start using my athletic art too! You go girl.
Gil,
That was so caring! Your tenant? A keeper. In our senior over fifty years, loss seems almost daily.
I hope you made out OK in the storms and snow.
Mags,
Swan analogy is hilarious, be cool. I hope the surgery is fast and works out well for you.
Sassy true about the south being dangerous too. Tornadoes tore up a lot of areas in the past week. We used to get hit every year but now the pattern is the serious stuff goed under us and east or over us and east and develop the damaging winds and twister away from us, know on wood.
Gil, did you get snowed in? Did you have any McCartney music to eat with the Pizza hut food!
Gotta go mow the lawn. Old RV friends are coming today and I have to go sponsor them on base for parking their RV while here.
Remember the drfining thing about you all -

We did get snowed in, and we spent our evenings watching old episodes of “Monk.”
When we got down here, temps were warm and the snow was melting fast.
By the time we got home, the only snow left in the yard was two large snowmen in the front yard, and a snow fort plus an arsenal of big snowballs in the back.

Hi overs
I’ve not got a date for the surgery yet.
I’m back to work on 2 hours a day and getting more tired as the week goes on, but I’ve got a cold so I blame that partly. Think I’m doing 4 hours a day from Monday. Not sure how many I’ll end up with. Hoping to manage 6 hours a day.
PJ, I’m finding ‘have to’ stuff still there when you’re ready to do it. Takes some adjusting.
Love to all xx

Mags, sending thoughts and prayers across the ocean. I hope you feel better!
Itchy, streaming no problem. I’ll make sure the Overs’ wing at the OFH is well equipped :-)
Have a good POETS Day to all!
