I think the worse of my cold has gone, fingers crossed. The weekend is nearly upon us.

I’ve been battling the garden all week eek and made barely a dent. I knew it would be a long job and hopefully that decent weather Mags mentioned will give me a good long run at it

We've had a week chilling in south Wales. The bad news is that driving 160 miles provokes a gout attack

Andy, Ouch! My husband gets gout but usually if he’s ate red meat. Hope it settles down soon.

Winter is visiting early today. Storm warnings all over the state. Very necessary to watch up.....because old gum trees...that are very dry because of the summer- can crack and break in sudden strong squalls.

Andy, Mr T also gets gout, no laughing matter. Enjoy wales though. South Wales, is that Tenby ish? Did I say I’m cr4p at Geography? I’m just glad Britain is south of the equator.

Hey guys I’m feeling a lot better it’s the third day after surgery and my head has cleared quite a bit. We had Thunder storms and tornadoes here again tonight and one poor child was killed in a fifth wheel RV when a giant tree fell on it just a few hours ago. We got the high winds and heavy rains but the twisters didn’t touch down on our property. Power flickered but stayed on. It’s 1:45 and the high winds and heavy lightning have passed and it’s just raining now.

Mags, glad you’re feeling better too. I wouldn’t be too worried I’m sure you’ll do just fine when you have to go through your surgery in be under general anesthesia.

Toots you’re amazing with the riding and Yoga. I do envy you your Spanish sunshine and UK gray.

Watching Scotland's Ullapool salmon farming and smoking, finished with a whiskey misting . . . Yum! Prawn (langostines)are humongous! We have gotta go visit one day once we're settled in Colorado.

Toots, with this weather it wouldn't surprise me if the world had tipped over. We went to a resort like Centre Parcs, the girls did lots of bike riding, swimming, canoeing and laserclay which is clay pigeon shooting but with lasers instead of shot.

Glad you are doing ok, Itch.

I went to a meeting..the storms have subsided to just annoying to walk outside in socks (and clothes). Interesting how some there, despite a respectable sobriety time- still blame others for their woes. This is an observation..as I did this too...
I respect (most) people. My respect goes especially to those who are genuine and who try. People talk of the cliches at meetings..like 'keep coming back' etc. I think they are only cliches when the people who say them are not honest and are not trying. 30years or 2 days....

Lots of wind and rain here this morning. My hat even blew off! Looks like freezing rain/snow for tonight and tomorrow. Only 1-2 inches of snow for us, but up north they could get 1-2 FEET!

Am planning on attending another card show tomorrow morning. Hopefully it won't get cancelled.

Yes Gilmer, South Dakota and Minn. got hit with some snow and little bit of ND.
But, spring is coming. at least we will keep our fingers crossed. ha ha

Sad about the tragic accident with the young girl. Bless her.

Andy, I like your idea about the Earth tipping. It would answer many things. I think the weather is going to get much stranger, yet, though.

Weather was lovely and we went out for lunch and was going for a walk around Normanby Park but I felt ill so we cut our visit short and I did nothing for the rest of the day., started on the predisolone (steroids) once again.

Serene, I hope you and baby Kathryn are doing well, and you’re getting some sleep.
