We were supposed to get rain all day yesterday—plus I saw a couple drops/flakes of sleet on my windshield for about two minutes—then the precipitation stopped, the clouds parted, and the sun shone through!

I found out today that my daughter had a miscarriage Wednesday.
She and her family will come over to dinner Sunday and we’ll have a good meal.
We’ll make her favorite cake for dessert. Not much we can do to make her feel better, but we’re faithfully here.

Bob, the snow really looks beautiful, but unfortunately causes many problems also.
Hi to all my friends. It Mothering Sunday tomorrow, we’re going out to buy flowers or a plant for my mum in law. I took flowers to my step mum yesterday.
The weather is dull and wet but no white stuff. Yesterday was lovely and sunny. I’ve not to my pots of daffodils and tulips out of the greenhouse just yet. Just in case.

I hope everyone is getting along ok.
I won’t bore you all to tears with my travails; lets just say they continue...
I recently came across something written by Anne Bronte that expresses my feelings so well..
“Oh, I am very weary, though tears no longer flow;
My eyes are tired of weeping, my heart is sick of woe.”
DH and I are getting out today and running a few errands. Having a late lunch out, probably a Cuban sandwich. The weather is beautiful; I think getting out will be beneficial. Plan on loading up the doggies....they love riding in the car with us. We are really trying to get on with life,. It is really hard to be happy and grateful when sad thoughts are always tucked away in your mind and popping out uninvited..
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
