Hey ya'll!
I'm in for another 24!
Today is my last full day in Chicago and it's been great thus far. My calves are so sore from all the walking. I went out with the group both nights and didn't drink, didn't even have an urge, want or desire to drink. Seeing everyone who was drunk was definitely enough reason. I didn't even envy the people who could simply have 2 drinks and be done. Alcohol is repulsive to me. As much as I'd like to say I have this licked, I know I am just at risk any day that I forgot I made an alcoholic, so I'll never forget step 1 or my why I am sober.
While I did have the hotel lock the mini bar, I will still take precautions as I don't want a state of euphoria to confuse me.
I had a lovely 3 hour pamper session yesterday and it was so calming. Self care is so very important.
