Some schmuck @ work stole my pill bottle from lunch bag! Was beside myself for just a couple mins(yuge progress) when remembered pg552 which put a smile on my face!!

Hi,
After our morning Big Book Mtg, my husband took me out to lunch and a little clothes shopping (for our cruise next month).
He didn't get home till around 1:00am last night. They played longer, then breakdown the set, and to Denny's for breakfast and talk about the night. Being a "Rock Star" keeps you up late at night..lol. Tonight, he was in bed before 8:00pm. Awww .....
Well, now it's time to check in for my next twenty four .....

Folks, after 18 months in a week I finish my time in the recovery program I am in.
I spent hours writing, scribbling and thinking about a final positively worded narrative for all the staff. I typed for 3 hours until I was happy with it..and only 1700 words.

I'd like another 24 hours please. Spending this weekend with my family and feeling increasingly guilty at how selfish I've been and how little effort I've made in the past.
I've decided this morning that I can't change the past but I can embrace the future and value the people that are important. Ditch the guilt and commit to being the best version of myself I can be. It's hard to let go of old resentments and hurt but it's time to grow up.
Thank god, I'm 37!! 😂
