Mine is a baby and I am growing it inside atm with plant lights.....once it warms up I may move it....I took a risk getting it because those scents tend to kill me, but so far so good.

I have one of those plants, too! It smells so good when it flowers. It is in the house for the winter in a sunny window. I just got it last summer so I am not sure when it will flowers again. It smells like Jasmine.

Ooooooo......it's beautiful.

I either email my phone pics to myself or send them to Nick on Skype and then just grab the images from there....but then you didn't actually ask me so I shall go and attend to my washing.

(That's laundry here, but I will NEVER say that....the laundry is a room for god's sakes...... )

Dear ChloeRose, we need a gardening thread!

I got a black leaved grass called Ophiopogon 'Black Beard' and a Japanese azalea because I have this fantasy of making a Japanese moss garden, a zen garden, in the spring. I have a grouchy looking sculpture of a japanese dog and a black bamboo...

How did that happen? Are your parents from there or did you move there for work or love?
Work and love!! My love (husband) has family here and my other love (supporting families) led us to move a couple of years ago. It was a second home after lots of holidays and we also married here. I'm from Perthshire orginally.

The last part of the dream was to be sober and I'm working on that! 😊 It just felt like a sin to have so much and disrespect it by being drunk. Wonderful to feel connected to something greater than myself. Thank you for asking Venus and have a lovely evening. I hope you are feeling better. Gabe x

Awwwww Gabe, what a beautiful story..... kind of reminds me of mine a little....Nick and I met right here (on this thread) and now that I am here with him and married and starting this dream life, I don't want to disrespect it either.

Staying sober and healthy is priority no 1.

I would love to hear more about your role in supporting families....what a wonderful thing to do.

Romance and marriage on the 24 hour thread?? I love it!! 💗💗 what an amazing way to meet. The rewards of recovery eh? 😄
I work for a service that supports families who are in crisis. Either to separate safely while still managing to parent or to learn different coping/communication skills to try to stay together. We also help parents to understand and support their children with mental health issues and behaviour challenges. It really is awesome. My colleagues are great. Gabe x

Ps I love the plant chat on here. I may learn a thing or two!

Nite to all the wonderful UKers.
Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite.....you know what to do if they bite, 'cos I bet your mums told you that one often when you were little....mine definitely did.
