Gotta say that gave me a needed chuckle Briar! I'm gonna talk it over with my wife and check into whether it's even a possibility. Is your Meyer lemon tree still producing? I saw someone on tv that was preserving the rind some way and would use it as a garnish and in salads etc.. I'd never heard of using citrus rind before, other than zest. |
Goodnight, all Sweet dreams. See you tomorrow. |
A very fine day to you,Dee. |
Love and Peace, all. ❤️ |

Goodnight Mark and Leigh.... (and what Netflix show?) :grouphug: South Pacific is the six-episode series Suze. A very visual series on the natural history and associated wildlife of the islands. Perfect relaxation for me and beautiful scenery. The girls consider my Netflix list to be a wee bit boring.....but then again you couldn't pay me to sit through the stuff they like! :herewego My mom and stepdad are driving up today and we're gonna enjoy shrimp and some twice baked potatoes etc.. Should be nice. Gym time is the morning agenda. Wishing each of you the best day. |

Hi all, A good gym session always puts a bit of wind in my sails and today was not too shabby for a more 'mature' guy. ;) This morning I was lucky to see a ruby-crowned kinglet. It bathed in the fountain just outside the window and then preened a bit. It displayed it's crown much of the time and I read they usually keep it hidden. The last time I remember seeing one was with my grandmother and I was about 10. It was on the window sill of her bedroom where she fed birds. She was wearing one of those long floor-length robe things that zipped up and had wide stripes down the front. They were popular in the later 1970s I think. Hers was purple. She loved her birds. Such a good memory. :) I hope everyone has a little something fun planned for the weekend....or at least some relaxation. |

Were the wide stripes adjacent to and on both sides of the zipper? What a nice treat to see the ruby-crowned kinglet :) And yes, I'd love a treat! |
