Here we go again December the 1st will be day one again working on sobriety hopefully goes into recovery after two days of drinking I realized my problems are still there only thing I’m doing is pushes back my sobriety and making withdrawals worse all life is precious!!! remember life is a gift not guaranteed
Welcome to all making the decision to get sober in December!! If you are new to SR welcome, this is an incredibly supportive site, and the monthly class is a great place to find support from others at the same point in recovery as you.
Use the last month of 2017 to begin your sobriety, and you will enter the new year with one month under your belt, and feeling better both physically, and emotionally.
Log in here and read daily. You can do this!!!

I just posted on your thread. I'm glad to see you posting and joining the December class is a great way to get support. The holidays can be tough, but you can do it. Dee has a great thread about remaining sober during the holidays. I am sure he will repost it. I will try to find it as well.
You can do this!!!!
Here are a few great links that Dee has shared in the past.

Hi all, I am from the November class and just popping in to say Hello - I am currently on Day 17 - this can be done. You will have wobbles but the urge does not last long . Keep yourself busy. I am still very tired but the feeling of waking up with a clear head and not feeling any guilt or anxiety of what I've done or said the night before outweighs this.
Wishing you all the luck in the world X

Welcome to all of you joining the December 2017 class.
I begun exactly here last year so I'm a Decemberite too!
You will be going through the holiday season without a single hangover!
How cool is that!!
Hang on! You can make this, one day at a time

I'd like to join this class. I've been struggling for a while and really want to stay sober permanently forever because alcohol is ruining my life. My sobriety date is November 29th but I wanted to wait & join this class since it was so close to December.
I'm sick and tired of being sick & tired.
I will not drink today no matter what! Anyone else in?
