Congratulations milestoners!! What a celebration it's going to be this time next month Quitter and Leigh!!! Can't wait.
The oddest thing has happened. Two days ago I woke up with a really heavy cold... blocked nose, sore throat, headache, blah blah blah. Anyway, this morning I got up and was making my cup of tea and suddenly I thought, 'where's my cold gone? Where is it?' My cold has completely disappeared. Missing in action. I was fully expecting it to hang around for a week or so but it's gone. Maybe this has nothing to do with sobriety but I suspect it has. I like to think of sobriety strengthening my immune system and banishing the cold off somewhere; probably to the same place as my missing sense of worth and lack of self esteem.
Now I get to enjoy Saturday feeling healthy and hangover-free. In case I don't say it enough, sobriety really is the best thing ever ... another 24 hours please xxxx

WOOP WOOP MILESTONERS. !!
On a bit of a guilt trip today. Decided not to go to football...which means my partners friend will take him and do caring duties today.
I so need a day off...am totally frazzled...so if I don't go it means I can have a lovely day doing girlie stuff , catching up on my favourite tv shows..playing my music ( which he hates) , just being me really. ...
In the past it would have been a day drinking from morning until night, what a waste !! Straight down the shop and vodka with my cornflakes and toast. YUK !!
Can't believe I let myself sink so far. Hey ho...NEVER again.

Good Morning SR!!! 4am and haven't been back to sleep since my girls woke me up at 2am to go potty outside. That's pretty much the norm anymore but I usually go back to sleep. Another long day of work ahead on my Dads kitchen remodel but should finally be DONE and off to other projects. It never ends.
Anyway, glad to be SOBER and PRODUCTIVE and FEELING GOOD!!!!
