Mags, in the best way, I hope you hear nothing for 2 weeks! ( meaning all is benign) I know that in the meantime you will be on tenterhooks.

I had a wee Jack Russell years ago who was very specific about meal times. She was very confused at clock changes!

Good morning Overs.

Mags I sorry to hear Merlin has passed, best wishes for your hubbies results.

I've had an annoying fault on my computer, it turns out it is the display that turns it's self off when it thinks I'm working it too hard.

Have a good day everyone.

Bleah. I found myself feeling very impatient at someone today at a meeting (after- they asked for me to talk, then spent lots of time talking to others first- which caused me to get impatient, in my brain..although not in real life).
Damaged people very new to recovery sometimes (!) do not behave all that consistently. If I have an awareness of this- it is inherent for myself (to me) to practice all the stuff about acceptance, patience, being in the moment..so it is not just crap oozing ourt of my mouth.
Jeez- I feel like a turbulent teen, chucking a wobbly 'cos I did not get my own way.

Mags, sending all positive thoughts for your H Waiting is so hard at times like this.you’ve had a lot on your plate and I hope you will have better times soon.

Andy, that would be a great ad gimmick - a computer that keeps one from working too hard . And how is Mrs Terrific holding up? I’ve heard that those later cycles can be very wearing.

It’s amazing (and scary) how warm it is in November! I barely need a jacket. If it gets much warmer I’ll need to slide over into Canada.

Have a good Monday, Overs.

It's only 32F here this morning, Sassy. I'll send some cold air over your way.

Chucking a wobbly...you Aussies have a way with words!

Another Monday, another week on my project. Hard deadline now of January 31. Should be a VERY busy couple of months!

Have a Marvelous Monday, overs!

We say nothing like that in Canada.

I dreamed last night that the November weather was so beautiful and warm that we were swimming in a swimming hole (?)
In reality, it is cold as ****. Probably nowhere as near as cold as other parts of Canada though. We're spoiled here on the coast.

So sorry Mags. Hugs and love to you.

FBL, I'm glad that Fran is doing well and everyone is making the necessary adjustments to a new living situation.

Inpar, I have met several fellow Canucks here on SR whom live in the prairie provinces, and I feel that they would snicker at your vision of what constitutes true cold. One day, I would love to do a visit through the Pacific NorthWest and hit Seattle and Vancouver. Vancouver especially is supposedly a very beautiful city.

Have a great day all!

LOL PJ! I imagine chucking a wobbly is the same as throwing a tantrum, having a hissy fit or getting ones knickers in a twist lol. You brought a smile to my morning

Good afternoon Overs.

Saskia, we've just returned from the hospital. Mrs Terrific agrees the later cycles of chemo are very wearing. She says thank you for thinking of her. This is cycle eleven, one more to go!

Have a good evening everyone.

Love to your wife Andy.

Sorry, lost the thread for a few days, and possibly a little more of my mind....
In actuality I am tired and busy but possibly more sane than I have been in quite some time.

I am now at the point FBL told me about where I would feel like I was at home....it's lovely, but I have a zillion things to do and dear friends like Itchy to catch up with.

Wots the madda with youse peeple, carnt speak 'strain?

Yep- checking a wobbly is a hissy fit, tanty, going spaz........
can I make it any clearer?
It is when one loses ones composure, exhibiting one's frustration behaviourally by regression in exhibiting frustration and anger. It is oft the case that such is partnered with uncouth language and crying.

I love this expression ! ! ! ha ha ha ha ha --Now that is funny !
I would much rather see someone checking a wobbly than having a hissy fit.

You have to chuck the wobbly dearest Babs....as in throwing a fit or having a tantrum.....as in: Oh no, venus is chucking a wobbly again as all of the chemist staff point and stare.... not these days...but when I drank....oh yeah.
