I’m going to give this another shot. Today I’m not going to drink. When I get off tonight, I’m going to the beach to clear my head, then go to an AA meeting. Afterwards I will go home, take the pups for a real walk and do some laundry. Probably even cook a little dinner.

You can do this! I’m going to give AA a try. I figure if I can make some sober friends then perhaps I will make it. I know I can’t do it alone. I’ve tried. Maybe you could try AA too if you don’t already. 🙂

Thank you Sinderos
I gave AA a little try last month. I'm not sure it is for me. But I am willing to try just about any thing to quit at this point.
I hope you have great success with AA! The people seem wonderful.

I am in for another month of Sobriety!
I started October Sober, Ended October Sober and repeat!
I love November, mostly because I LOVE Thanksgiving day FOOD!
This year I am thankful for SR, AA, sobriety and everyone in my corner to remain sober!
Here is to another day and month.
IF you want it bad enough, you'll do it. Get the AV outta your mind and head, make a plan, follow through with it, acceptance is key.

Had a little wobble earlier when my friend text to say she was drinking some wine but I resisted - I've come up to bed early to read with a mug of hot chocolate. I have been working late shifts over the last few days so hoping to feel much more rested when I wake up on Day 3 tomorrow.
This weekend is going to be hard - I have a lunch date planned with my 2 x sisters and mum. One of my sisters has a strained relationship with my mum so it can be difficult. I have offered to drive so this will keep me on track during the lunch and hopefully will be able to resist picking up a bottle on the way home X
