Well I’m resigned to the sofa (better than Hospital) I had an asthma attack yesterday and they don’t want me back at work yet until I’m better. They’ve got me appointment with works doc on the 8th.

I hope the lights came back on Leigh.

Bob I hate the dark mornings and evenings in winter but I do love my coal fire and getting cabined up in front of it. Especially if there’s a smattering of snow outside.
One saving grace is we have the wonderful new spring to look firer to.

Love to all Julyers
How are you feeling today, Mags.

Love and hugs ❤️

Hiya guys

Yesterday was our 10th wedding Anniversary.

I woke up , gave Shaun a kiss , a card and a lovely gift. He forgot ! Totally !

I was hurt and now I’m pissed. Sometimes I don’t even know why I bother.

Bob, Dee, Pj ....would you guys forget a 10th Anniversary?

Am I being precious? Would you girls be upset if your hubby forgot your 10 th Anniversary ...it’s a big one.

Sigh .

No I wouldn't forget but you're not married to me Wendy

I'm not trying to make light of things but I did think Wednesday was Thursday this week - my brain leaks like a sieve the older I get and the more work I have on.

All I can recommend is communication really.

I think a full and frank discussion is probably called for?

My hubby has forgotten a few along the way. No offense to our amazing guys here but I do think that it is a bit of a guy thing. The 25th was the one that my hubs forgot

I growled for a bit but, truly, it is the day-to-day treatment and relationship that is important to me (and he does that exceedingly well) so it was easy for me to get over it.

Hello my lovely Julyers!
I hope you all are doing ok. Things are fine here for a change...not where I'd like us to be, but so much better than where we were.
Son just got his 60 day chip. He's so proud of it, and we're so proud of him. God willing, that episode we experienced will never be repeated.
Dear sweet Snooze, yes I'd be pissed. My DH doesn't forget, but neither does he put much effort into gifts, cards, etc. it's usually a last minute "round-up" at the florist and card shop, where I plan ahead and put much more though into his gift.
I agree with Leigh, how you are treated the rest of the year does carry some weight. I think men are just programmed so differently! You know, the Mars-Venus thing.
Well, off to run errands before the Friday traffic gets too bad.
Love and support to you all from your friend,
Croutie

Hi Julyers

I’m ok if I don’t do too much, I’m taking it steady. Hubby has a procedure tomorrow at the cancer clinic at our hospital. I’m hoping it turns out to be nothing.

Croute so pleased your son has 60 days under his belt.

Snoozy, congratulations to you and your hubby on your 25 th wedding anniversary. I do think men don’t remember things we do, you know men are from mars and women from Venus. They sometimes need a nudge in the right direction, perhaps. A workmate said he got up for work and his wife was still asleep and there was an anniversary card on the side for him. He forgotten all about it so dashed off to the shops for a card and flowers and left them for when she got up. Sweet but forgetful.

Take care , love to all.

Um...yes. But look what he's been through baby.....I think I would forgive a husband who had dealt with all of that. Don't get me wrong....I would be upset right off but I would think about it.

Just like you will. Forgive him love....he's alive and you guys still have a future. That is kind of awesome. Worth a whole new card even.

I love you honey.

Congrats on 10 years with Shaun, Wendy.
Ok, that's all I have to say. You may continue slamming men.

Snooz, on the occasion that my husband lets me down, I reflect on the myriad other occasions where I’ve let him down—and it makes it a lot easier to cut him some slack.
