Onward together! ♥
"People who begin a task or go through it with an optimistic perspective tend to find themselves being more successful than those who doubt or believe in failure before even starting."
6:20am in Alberta, today is going to be a darn good day not to drink!
24 more please, and thanks...
Thanks for the new thread Dee!
Onward together, always. ♥
♥ Good morning. Did not sleep at all well, sigh.
But another 24 will definitely help. So may I please have 24 hours of precious beautiful freedom?
So much love to everyone. ♥

Fantastic news Neoo!
And Shortstop, I read a quote the other day that I like and you might too... something like, 'we can either make ourselves miserable or we can make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same.'
I guess, like Pebbles said, you have to try to turn that anger into something positive, whilst being kind to yourself. I think part of that is acknowledging the anger but not allowing it to become self destructive. Writing about your dream and talking about it here is a great start in getting that anger out of your head. Be gentle with yourself, you're doing great xxx

Yes.....plenty of suggestions. Vitamin C. And a doctor, because once you have a fever your body is fighting an infection. It's a good idea to get your chest checked out love. I would....or I wouldn't and that would be silly.
Lots of fluids and try and get some rest even though you are probably really busy.
Abd hugs....hugs always help. ♥
Welcome to the thread Ruminator, you got this!
Good morning all, it's 5:31am here in Mississauga. Another 24, please and thank you.
I had some awful dreams last night, about my former stepfather and abuse I suffered when I was younger. I'm also holding on to some heavy feelings of resentment, triggered by a conversation with a loved one last night (unrelated to my dream).
Now I'm stewing in self-pity, feeling taken for granted, etc. I know these are destructive emotions, but at what point am I *allowed* to be angry about certain things in my life?

You have to feel the emotions, move through them no matter how painful I think, in order to get to the other side.
That is my experience, anyway.
Like me, you may need to talk through this stuff more with a safe person. I got lots of therapy and then found that talking through everything that happened with Nick helped me put it all to rest. I had no idea that would happen.
More love sweety. ♥
And of course......we have doing this for a long time together love, and I know we will continue onward together indefinitely.
Lots of hugs. ♥
