Her coach overheard and got very upset with the other coach. She ended up finishing in third, but they moved her to second and her team won the meet. I am so disappointed that a HS coach would do this. It would have been her first race finishing first, so she was pretty disappointed, but will learn and use the feelings to make her faster at the next race. I still think the team should have been disqualified, and the coach should have some sort of consequence.
