We will be around in the evening
Didnt ride today. We basically had a storm so put it off till tomorrow.
The plan is to see if i can make the hill into part of my route into work or home

Hi tea, glad you approve - it's a starting point at least. I'll be relying on you guys in the evening though!
I'm interested in your cycling - it was something I got quite into in my youth. Considering buying myself a bike now for a bit more exercise but for now its mostly swimming...

Haven't heard from a few for a while.
I know Kiki went back to her old group and Thomas stayed onto Sept 2017.
Hoping that everyone else is doing well.

I'm still here and still sober. Heading out to my card school this evening. First time ever sober and I'll be the only sober one there. I'm certain that I won't drink though, and they all know that. I'm a bit concerned that if I win, my friends will call foul and claim that I have an unfair advantage.

Hi everyone. Still here, still sober. I'm on 70 something days now, can't believe it! Tea, have fun tackling that hill!
Yesterday we took my grandson for some allergy tests as he's reacted to some foods. Turns out he's allergic to eggs and nuts. 😓 He as so good, didn't cry at all when they were pricking his skin, just very interested in why the lady was drawing on his arm! Today we're going to take him to the aquarium which is right on the banks of Loch Lomond. It's a beautiful autumn day so looking forward to driving out there it's so beautiful.
I'm feeling very grateful for a lot of things this morning, too much to list.

Still here, albeit logging in less frequently, but I'm sure that's just due to being busy at home with the baby!
Today is Day 56!
Feeling good.
I realize that I do need to watch how "preachy" I get with the whole sobriety thing.
It's totally my style to get really passionate about a subject (now it's alcohol abuse and the dangers of binge drinking, especially among women) but I know that not everyone wants to hear it.
Trying to stick to my blog where I am able to share ideas more openly, and hopefully the people visiting my page arrive there by doing searches for information/guidance with these matters!
Got into a bit of a debate with a mom group in my town who read my blog and felt super offended.
I've never dealt with this before...so it's a bit weird!
Ah well.
Freedom of expression and anti-censorship and all that, right?!
How's everyone spending their Friday night?!
I am cooking Thanksgiving dinner for my Swiss family here since I miss the Canadian holiday and they don't have it here.
Lots of be thankful for this year <3

So it turns out that I'm a terrible card player when I'm sober! Already back home in bed at 10:46. At least I won't have the usual thick head after staying up (and drinking) until the wee small hours.

Forwards - great to hear you gave up the idea of tapering. You can do it!
I went to my first SMART meeting yesterday. It felt more like a school lecture than a support group and there wasn't much time for sharing. I'll give it another chance though.

Well I have had a fantastic time the last two days but working all weekend now. My wee guy loved our day trip yesterday and so did my daughter who messaged me last night to tell me how lucky he was to have me as a gran. I cried tears of joy when I read that, it meant so much to me.
Off to the shower,, hope everyone has a great weekend.

Hello everyone! I'm still here and still sober (62 days!!), sorry for being rubbish at posting. My graduation project keeps me very, very busy, although I'm feeling a bit down lately. I guess I'm just dissatisfied with my work, and I allowed myself to be sucked into feelings of self-doubt again. My AV blooms in all this self-pity 
'You will never be good enough, so forget it and have a drink!' Ah well, hopefully I will feel better tomorrow; I'm a natural born pessimist and practising positive thinking is a bit of a struggle for me. 
I'm off to work now, I hope everyone has a great weekend!! Stay strong!
