Some friends of ours who love about 80 miles south of us JUST had their power restored.
Thankfully, they are semi-snowbirds and had another home to which to evacuate.
They sustained property damage and don't know when they will be able to re-occupy their home. They are alive and have a place to live and are counting their blessings.
There are so many who are so much less fortunate. It is hard to wrap our heads around it but, thankfully, there are many ways to help.

In for another 24 hours, thank you very much! I'm still around and have stayed sober, I've just been super busy living life offline and I'm happier than I've ever been. Stay strong, everyone!
