Thanks for letting us know. I've never thought about poor pets not being able to go outside to relieve themselves!

For the first time in about 10 days I actually woke up feeling like I managed some sleep! That awful foggy hungover feeling has eased somewhat, And I feel almost human! The last few days I've had such a dry mouth and been drinking gallons of still water, 3 pints during the night last night. I'm hoping that settles somewhat , or I will sloosh as I walk! Tummy just rumbled! Yay! Off to make a bit of cereal before the hunger disappears!

Thank you all for putting up with my patheticness recently, even I struggled to bear my own company at times!

I came down with a sore throat and didn't sleep worth a hill of beans
last night. Grrrrr.
Going to the lake today to take some of the stuff home for winter. and it's very nice outside maybe the fresh air will take away this cold or whatever I'm fighting.. Have a good day everyone !

((((Babs)))) but from a distance I'm not catching anything else!

I am going to have to organise myself over the next few days as I head to Spain Tuesday for a little over a fortnight. It was planned before I got ill and no reason not still to go. I am going to be doing some external painting. Yay! Haha gallons of white paint. Not quite whitewash as its not something I want to be doing every blooming year. The prep work will take some time too. Hopefully I will have good weather for it all.

Toots, my dear, nothing keeps you down for long! Please do give yourself enough time to fully recuperate

It's not confirmed yet, but I heard the Bowling Center I worked at in Key West sustained some major damage during the storm.

Budd, I sure hope so--oh my lord from what I've seen on tv I can't believe the devastation . I'm really sick today and thinking maybe I will go to the Dr. if it doesn't turn around pretty soon,
Have a good day everyone and Toots be careful you don't need a relapse.

If I still lived in Key West, I'd be homeless right now. I just saw an overhead picture of my old trailer, it looks like a sardine can that has been opened and stomped on. I hope nobody was living there anymore.

I'm glad you moved when you did, Budd.

Has the grueling schedule of work let up any yet?

Thing happen for a reason Budd, you moved forward at the right time.

Babs I really hope you are okay love.

Yes, recuperation. Not something I've had many dealings with, but apparently if one does too much when one has a good day, the next day reminds them that merely a week earlier they were flat on their back. Who knew? I do intend to try to restrain my impatience, as next Tuesday I have an hour drive to the airport, a couple hours to kill a 3 hour flight and arriving in Alicante I will have a further 2 hour drive to reach home. This is going to take a lot of energy and focus, so between now and then, I intend to conserve what I can.

It is somewhat fitting, that I finally woke up free enough of my foggy head to upload my six and latest novel. Fitting in that 4 1/2 years ago, I woke up less foggy headed after my first 24 hours free from the poison of alcohol.

Oh, Toots! I'm sorry you're still sick! What a nasty infection!

Good for you that you uploaded your novel at last!

Try not to live in next week. Your body needs to recuperate, and a big part of that is resting your mind, too--keeping it as free from stress as possible (even "positive" stress).

Aren't there any outrageous old comedies you can watch?

Great! How are you, WeHav?

We haven't heard any interesting stories from you in a long time.

What's been going on?

Budd, I was afraid that was the case with your old home. It's all so heartbreaking.

Hi We!

Toots, it's always tempting to overdue it when you start to feel better - I always do that. It's an excuse to take it easy for a few more days. Congratulations on your book -- I am in awe of you.

Court date moved to the end of November. Not too thrilled but what can I do. I guess it gives us more time to prepare...

Sorry, Duff! Sometimes Mother Nature intervenes to remind us all that we cannot plan our lives with any certainty. I think that the vast majority of us prefer certainty.
