Thank you dearest LuLu! ♥
Thinking of you love, every single day.
That cake topper would have been cool Leigh, this is the one we got:
...and the flowers we did for the wedding...red carnations and white & pale green hydrangeas in vintage milk bottles and mason jars.

Morning Julyers
The last few days have been wonderful, basking in the love and marriage of Suze and Nick. How wonderful that they shared this special occasion with us, their extended family. I, personally have felt so priveledged and honoured to be part of it all, albeit thousands of miles away. ❤️
Thinking of all my friends here with trials and tribulations, Lulu, Croutie, snoozy, Bob and all,of us, having life throw us eggs and us replying by turning it into an omelette.
Life can be tough at times, but knowing you're part of this fantastic group of people in SR, our extended family, who share our pain and our joys, can bring some solace in a mixed up world. Hang in there, it's sometimes hard to swallow, but everything does come to pass.

Not the part about me per se, but I would love to see Mags' post above go into the "best of sober recovery" forum.
I just read what you wrote in the Overs love, and yes, I so agree, and you said it so beautifully....and my dear dear friend....I am the one who is privileged. To have friends here who care so much, who have been with me every step of the way, who will always be here every step for all of us....because we truly love each other.
We understand each other and our bond is beyond precious....and as you said, together we make omelettes from eggs, no matter how rotten they are. And if you didn't quite say that last part I am adding it because it sounds good.

Mags, I agree with Suze, that was a really special post you just wrote... We are indeed so fortunate to have each other for support and understanding.
I hope all of you are having a good week....I know for sure a couple of lovebirds we all know are having a fantastic week!
Snooze, I do still miss my little Kiki. Initially you could tell her sister couldn't figure out where she was and knew something was wrong.....poor little thing. They hadn't been apart a day in over 18 years, so I knew she would be lonely and looking for her. I've given her lots of extra attention and she is doing better now.
I just hope she will be with me a while longer...
Nothing to report of a positive nature; we're hanging on for dear life. DH is doing everything he can. We just have to wait and see how it all unfolds, there's only so much he can do.... sometimes circumstances are such that you aren't in control your own destiny. It is very frightening....
Love and support to my lovely Julyers,
Croutie

Hi Dee, quick note before I head off to work. I am hanging in there. Has been a little over a month. I am not counting days as it does not seem to matter, I cannot ever drink again and I know that without hesitation. I am fine physically but depressed. I go to work, come home, eat and go to bed in an effort to avoid the depression. It will get better I am sure.
Congrats again, Suze.
Thoughts and prayers to all who are having trials and tribulations. Life is not easy, eh?
Have a great day/night all!
