I can heat my house all winter with 200 gals of fuel oil.
That includes the hot water as well. At the current price of about $2 a gallon. That's around $400 for the winter. But when it was $4 a gallon a few years ago if was triple the savings. I'm getting the wood for free this year. So it's all savings. I love wood heat anyways. I have a basement room that is so comfy with the stove burning and rustic looking furniture.

$400 for heat for an entire winter is fantastic.

Really nice to get the wood for free!!!! That's a very nice savings.

Bob, the wood pile is built almost like a wall, very sturdy indeed and a use for it too.

Have a great day my friends. I hope our worries are little ones, like do I put on my black socks or my blue socks, decisions.....
