Big week over here with the kids starting new schools and us starting new routines to compensate for it. So far everything is going smoothly.
I did overeat yesterday in response to the stress but I did not drink, nor did I have the desire to. I haven't really had an urge in the last month or so - it's a nice feeling to be free of that noise.
Here for 24 more. Grateful to be sober and free, healthy and safe. So much to be grateful for really, but those are just a few...

I'm sorry Nicola- what a crappy group of people to do something like that. Keep on moving forwards and don't let the anger/resentment build up. It's okay to be upset about it but that type of deceit will come back to them one way or another. I would not count that against your sober time, but that's just me. I would also make sure next time that I am in full control of my beverages! I'm sorry this happened to you but you are doing GREAT- this is not a setback, just a small bump in the road...much love my friend!

At around 10 months sober, I ate a delicious dessert and only later found out it was made with rum. I was horrified and felt stupid and guilty. I didn't choose to drink and kept my original sobriety date. I hope you keep yours! Love you girl!
Hope our dear Leigh is safe. Prayers for Florida and everyone in Irma's path.
